The Dodgers cling to a 5–4 lead in the bottom of the 11th inning, pulses racing as the time runs out on their quest to secure a second consecutive win, for the first time in 20 years, for the 2025 World Series championship. Yoshinobu Yamamoto delivers the final pitch, a sharp grounder to shortstop Mookie Betts. He snags it cleanly, tags second for the force out and whips it to first baseman Freddie Freeman for the double-play. The stadium explodes in cheers as teammates swarm the mound in euphoric celebration. The Dodgers win!
Following the victory, Los Angeles erupts in blue-and-white glory with a downtown parade and rally on November 3, drawing record crowds nearly double the previous year’s. Buses parade the players and the Commissioner’s Trophy from Temple Street to Fifth Street, passing by crowds waving “World Champions” signs and chanting “Let’s go Dodgers!”

First baseman Freddie Freeman, who caught the winning throw from Betts, marvels at the excitement. “I feel like it’s almost double from last year. These fans are crazy. It’s so awesome to be a part of this”, he told Fox Sports.
The festivities peak at Dodger Stadium where 60,000 fans pack the stands for a celebration party. Players take the stage with raw emotion and excitement as team manager Dave Roberts introduces rapper Ice Cube, who drives his iconic blue lowrider onto the field with the Commissioner’s trophy in hand as his song You Know How We Do It thumps in the background and cheers roar from the bleachers, fueling dreams of a third consecutive win in 2026.
Shortstop Mookie Betts, hero of the sealing play, told Yahoo Sports he “Can’t really call it a dream come true, because you don’t really dream of stuff like that. Winning it four times? That’s crazy. But man, it’s … it’s dope.” This back-to-back glory strengthens the Dodgers’ dynasty and fuels the team’s determination to win the next year’s season.
